Two Pack Etch Primer 4 Litres

A two component vinyl based etch primer designed to promote adhesion of subsequent paint coatings onto galvanised iron and aluminium surfaces and concrete floor surface.

TWO PACK ETCH PRIMER contains zinc phosphate as a reactive pigment, it should however be over coated with an anticorrosive primer for galvanised iron to ensure optimum protection against corrosion.

THIS IS A TWO PACK SYSTEM. MIX THE TWO COMPONENTS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. DO NOT USE THE BLEND AFTER THE POT LIFE LIMIT.

USAGE
• On galvanised steel and alloys of aluminium
• On light metals and alloys such as non anodised aluminium.
• On concrete floor surface before painting for good adhesion.
• Can also be used on steel for temporary protection and on stainless steel.

Note: Condensation or dew formation on metallic surfaces will result in poor adhesion and subsequent flaking of the paint. Avoid painting during early morning, late evening or during humid and wet periods.

• Pot Life : 8 hours at 25°C
• Shelf Life : 12 months, kept in separate containers.
• Packing : 4L, 1L

Paints should be stirred before use and occasionally whilst in use.
